Graduated in Architecture at the University of Venice in 1979. In the academic year 1985/86 he obtained a Diploma in Lighting Design at the Polytechnic University of Milan. In 1983 he started his professional services in Venice, where he lives and works, developing experience design furniture, lighting and objects. Winner of numerous awards and honors, including mention: 1999 - 2nd place Best Booth Presentation, Hospitality Design, Las Vegas; 2002 – 1 st Prize Best Booth Award, Lightfair International, San Francisco; 2003 - 1st Prize Best of Category Award for the lamp Claire, Lightfair International, New York; 2003-2004; Good Design Award for the lamps Glo and Flexa, The Chicago Athenaeum of Architecture & Design; 2005 – 2008 - 2009 Best Booth Award, Hospitality Design Trade Show, Las Vegas; 2011 Good Design Award the lamps Eghoor-01 and Colage, The Chicago Athenaeum of Architecture & Design. For De Majo realizes two spotlights: Cut and Coupè: characterized by soft lines and extraordinarily versatility.
